Irish weave contemporary basket | medium

This contemporary basket has been handwoven with the olive green and purple tones of Brittany Green willow, along with the yellow/green tones of steamed Dicky Meadows willow - both grown in Somerset. It features a variation of the distinctive open Irish Pairing weave which was traditionally used on donkey creels/paniers in Ireland.
