Commission process
1 / Initial consultation
We begin the process by discussing with you what you have in mind for your commission - either by email or over the phone. We may ask for you to send over images or sketches to get an idea of the design you’re interested in. To begin the process, fill in the commissions form, or email us directly: info@hopewoodbaskets.co.uk
2 / Design proposal and lead time
After the initial consultation, we will send across the details from our discussion, which will include: design details (size, shape, colour etc), pricing, and timescale, along with our full T&Cs. Adjustments can be made at this stage before we finalise the details.
3 / Payment
Once the design proposal has been finalised, we require a 50% deposit to secure the commission and secure time in our making schedule. We will request the final payment once the work has been created.
4 / Completion and delivery
We will hand-weave your design according to the schedule and let you know when the order is complete. At this stage we will send across the final invoice and once received, confirm the delivery schedule. We will inform you when the parcel is due to be delivered, along with the shipping/tracking details.
