This contemporary basket has been handwoven with the fresh yellow/green tones of Dicky Meadows willow and the warm contrasting tones of Flanders Red willow - both grown in Somerset. It features a variation of the distinctive open Irish Pairing weave which was traditionally used on donkey creels/paniers in Ireland.
