A contemporary basket created using a range of locally-grown varieties of willow. The undulating textural patterns are made using a rope-coil weave which also showcases the varied natural colours of the willow. The locally sourced hazel has unusual forms that have been created by a wild honeysuckle growing around the piece of hazel, the two pieces of wood growing together as one piece. The soft honeysuckle has since died back, leaving the undulating patterns of where it once grew.
