Zarzo flower basket

The Zarzo basket originated from Spain, and was traditionally used for straining cheese. This contemporary adaption creates a sculprutal piece, perfect for using as a flower basket. Handwoven with Somerset willow using the variety Dicky Meadows.

The baskets shown in the images are representatives from the batch of baskets made, with sizes varying slightly between pieces. The same willow has been used for all pieces.
