ren | small | contemporary basket

This small curvy basket has been created using Dicky Meadows and Black Maul willow varieties and results in a colour palette of natural earthy greens and browns. It has a band of heringbone rope-coil weave at the bottom and English randed sides, both giving textural features. The asymmetrical border is finshed with a hazel handle attached using a traditional Japanese knot fastening.

Ren is Old English for rain.
