Please arrive from 9.30 for tea/coffee, to begin at 10am

VENUE: Arch 27, Croft Rd, Worcester WR1 3BD

During this 3 day course you will create a large-scale asymmetric basket. We will begin the first day by learning how to select, sort and grade the material ready for weaving - an important skill to create a balanced basket. After this you will learn how to make a round base and how to measure and insert the uprights.

The second day will focus on building the sides of the basket, with different options for weaving patterns and shaping to suit your level of experience. On day three you will finish the sides before weaving the asymmetric border and attaching a wooden handle

Places are limited to 6 people to give plenty of support to each participant, with Sarah on hand to guide you through each of the processes involved in creating your very own sculptural asymmetric basket.
