Asymmetrical Basket Workshop - Worcester Cathedral - 19th May 2022

Asymmetrical Basket Workshop - Worcester Cathedral - 19th May 2022

Working in the beautiful Undercroft room at Worcester Cathedral, you will be using tried and tested weaving techniques and will take home a round-based garden basket with an asymmetrical border, made using Somerset willow and topped with a wooden handle. I will guide you step by step through the process, teaching you how to: start the basket by making a base, how to add the uprights into the base before weaving the sides and border, and finally adding in a wooden handle. An intensive yet fun day full of learning for beginners, in which you will take home not only this unique looking basket but also the skills to make more in the future.
