asymmetric Irish weave basket | medium

This contemporary basket has been handwoven using Dicky Meadows willow, which has been steamed to create warm honey tones. It features the distinctive open Irish Pairing weave which was traditionally used on donkey creels/paniers. The handle is made from a piece of locally sourced hazel.
